About Adams Peak
Sri Pada (Adam's Peak) is a sacred mountain revered by Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, and Christians alike. Rising 2,243 meters, it's famous for the sacred footprint at its summit. Pilgrims climb through the night to witness the spectacular sunrise and the unique triangular shadow cast by the peak. The pilgrimage season runs from December to May, with the climb taking 4-6 hours.
