Please read these terms carefully before booking with us.

By booking a tour with Rasha Tours Lanka, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Booking & Confirmation

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
  • A deposit of 30% is required to confirm your booking.
  • The remaining balance is due 14 days before the tour start date.
  • Bookings made within 14 days of departure require full payment.
  • You will receive a confirmation email upon successful booking.

2. Payment Terms

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal.
  • All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified.
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice until booking is confirmed.
  • Any bank charges or transaction fees are the responsibility of the customer.

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Rasha Tours Lanka

We reserve the right to cancel or modify tours due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, civil unrest, or insufficient bookings. In such cases, we will offer:

  • A full refund, or
  • An alternative tour of equal value, or
  • Credit for future bookings

4. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers:

  • Trip cancellation and interruption
  • Medical emergencies and evacuation
  • Lost or delayed baggage
  • Personal liability

Rasha Tours Lanka is not responsible for any losses incurred due to lack of adequate insurance coverage.

5. Health & Safety

  • Travelers must inform us of any medical conditions or special requirements at the time of booking.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure you are fit to travel and participate in tour activities.
  • We recommend consulting your doctor regarding vaccinations and health precautions.
  • Our guides are trained in basic first aid, but we are not liable for any health issues during the tour.

6. Travel Documents

  • Travelers are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, and any required travel documents.
  • Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in Sri Lanka.
  • We are not responsible for denied entry due to improper documentation.
  • For visa requirements, please check the Sri Lanka Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) website.

7. Itinerary Changes

While we make every effort to follow the planned itinerary, we reserve the right to make changes due to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Road closures or transportation issues
  • Site closures or local events
  • Safety concerns
  • Force majeure events

Alternative arrangements of similar value will be provided whenever possible.

8. Accommodation

  • Accommodation is based on twin/double sharing unless otherwise specified.
  • Single room supplements are available at an additional cost.
  • We reserve the right to substitute accommodation with similar or better quality if necessary.
  • Check-in time is typically 2:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM.

9. Transportation

  • All vehicles are air-conditioned and maintained to safety standards.
  • Vehicle type depends on group size and tour requirements.
  • Seat belts must be worn at all times.
  • Smoking is not permitted in vehicles.

10. Liability

Rasha Tours Lanka acts as an intermediary between travelers and service providers (hotels, transport, attractions). We are not liable for:

  • Injury, illness, death, or loss of property during the tour
  • Delays or changes caused by third parties or circumstances beyond our control
  • Actions or omissions of airlines, hotels, or other service providers
  • Personal belongings left in vehicles or accommodations

11. Complaints

If you have any complaints during your tour, please inform our guide or contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue. Written complaints should be submitted within 14 days of tour completion.

12. Photography & Marketing

We may take photographs during tours for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us at the start of the tour.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Sri Lankan courts.
